Man Arrested After Dispute Leads to Shooting at Zephyrhills McDonald’s

TAMPA, Fla. — Authorities arrested 48-year-old Wesley Lee Bullock on Wednesday following a violent altercation that resulted in a shooting at a Zephyrhills McDonald’s drive-thru, according to the Zephyrhills Police Department.

The incident began Tuesday when Bullock reportedly engaged in a heated dispute with the McDonald’s staff. During the altercation, a customer attempted to intervene, leading to a physical confrontation between Bullock and the customer, which was eventually broken up by restaurant employees.

After the initial scuffle, both Bullock and the customer entered their vehicles. Bullock is said to have followed the customer and escalated the confrontation by drawing a firearm. During the ensuing struggle for the weapon, a shot was discharged, striking the customer, who, police confirm, is expected to recover from the injury.

Bullock now faces charges of armed burglary with battery and aggravated assault with a firearm.
