McDonald’s is set to spice up its menu with an array of both nostalgic favorites and enticing new offerings starting Wednesday, April 17. In an exciting update, the fast food juggernaut will reintroduce popular items and introduce novel tastes, available for a limited six-week period.
Highlighting the revamped menu are the Cheese and Herb Melts, crafted from a blend of emmental and mozzarella cheeses enveloped in a herb-infused breadcrumb coating, served with a tangy tomato dip. These melts are priced at £2.89 for a pack of five, with a larger share box option available for £7.09.
A standout addition is the Chicken Big Mac, a variant that swaps the traditional beef patties of the iconic Big Mac for chicken. This sandwich, which made a splash during its UK debut in 2022, features a triple-layered bun, two chicken patties, a slice of cheese, lettuce, pickles, and the signature Big Mac sauce. Priced at £4.69 for the sandwich alone, it can also be enjoyed as part of a meal for £6.49.
The menu also sees the return of the deluxe Quarter Pounder, a burger that combines a beef patty with mustard, ketchup, onions, lettuce, mayonnaise, tomato, pickles, and two slices of cheese, all nestled in a toasted sesame-seed bun. This deluxe option retails at £4.89, with the ability to upgrade to a meal for £6.59.
For dessert lovers, McDonald’s is bringing back the Galaxy Caramel Pie, featuring a filling of Galaxy-flavored caramel encased in a crispy chocolate pastry, priced at £1.99. Complementing this is the Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry, also available for £1.99, which mixes soft ice cream with chocolate drops and sauce.
Furthermore, the menu refresh introduces a Biscoff Frappe for £2.99, alongside other variants of the McFlurry at different price points.
However, with the new arrivals, some products will depart from the menu, including the popular halloumi fries, a previous fan favorite.
This temporary menu revamp is part of McDonald’s strategy to keep its offerings fresh and exciting, continually drawing customers to experience both novel and familiar flavors under its golden arches.
